Lido Palms Visit to the Integration
Melinda Hess is holding one of her life coaching workshops over this Labor Day weekend and several of her attendees are staying with us at the Lido Palms Resort and Spa. The first night of the workshop took place at the Integratron located in Landers (just past Joshua Tree). Rosemary and I tagged along. The Integratron is the creation of George Van Tassel, and is based on the design of Moses’ Tabernacle, the writings of Nikola Tesla and allegedly, telepathic directions from extraterrestrials. The is a 38-foot high, 55-foot diameter, non-metallic structure originally designed by Van Tassel as a rejuvenation and time machine. Today, the Integratron, with its amazing architecture, sound chamber and high energy, still stands and is maintained by a group that offers public tours, special events, "Sound Baths," and rentals of the property to a variety of groups spanning many interests. Many visitors experience the Integratron as a very powerful vortex for physical and spritual healing. Scientists who study the building call it "a mass battery" and a "magnetic room."
We found Jan's introductory presentation on the building's history to be extremely interesting. We actually were left wanting to learn more about the building and its inventor/builder.
Next, we participated in the "Sound Bath" which is an approximate 30 minute session during which Jan plays nine crystal singing bowls while we were lying down on mats in the center of Integratron's resonant, multi-wave upper chamber. The singing bowls are supposedly keyed to different energy centers of the body and for some, this can be an outer body experience. For my part, I did not find this to be the case. However, it was nevertheless a very peaceful and pleasant experience. Rosemary and I are looking forward to returning soon. We'd like to thank Melinda for including us in her group.
We will be sure to relate our experience visiting the Integratron to those of our guests who inquire as to nearby places of interest during their stay at the Lido Palms Resort and Spa.
